1. Introduction

The Clevy Keyboard is a minimal, versatile, and tactile mechanical keyboard that provides accessible typing solutions for individuals with disabilities and also serves as an introductory keyboard for children. It features tactile ALPS-type switches, making it ideal for users who value clear, intuitive feedback.

1.1 Intended Purpose

The Clevy Keyboard 3 is an assistive input device intended to facilitate typing for users who have difficulty operating standard computer keyboards due to motor, visual, or cognitive impairments. It is also suitable as an entry-level keyboard for children. Large, high-contrast keycaps, adapted fonts, and optional keyguards support accurate key pressing and reduce accidental keystrokes.

1.2 Indications

Individuals with reduced fine motor skills or reduced hand strength, who benefit from larger keys and keyguards.
Individuals with visual impairments, who benefit from large, high-contrast keys and adapted fonts.
Individuals with developmental disorders (such as autism or learning disabilities), who require simplified and structured input devices.
Children in pre-school or primary education, as an introductory tool for learning keyboard operation.

1.3 Contraindications

This product is not suitable for:

Users who cannot perform intentional key presses without adapted access methods
Users with very severe motor impairment where a keyboard cannot be operated
Users without sufficient cognitive ability to interact with a computer

General rule: Do not use the device when the intended use cannot be achieved or where medical advice prohibits repetitive finger movement.

1.4 Risks (unforeseeable)

1.5 CE & MDR Labelling & Product Identification Data

This product is a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and bears the CE mark. Classification: Class I, non‑measuring, non‑sterile.

Note on layout variants and UDI-DI
If only keycaps are exchanged to change the visible layout, the device’s UDI-DI on the product label remains unchanged. Only the layout label on the packaging is updated. This policy avoids misidentification while preserving traceability because no essential design, performance or safety characteristics are changed.

3.Getting started

Following these instructions, you can easily set up your Clevy Keyboard for wired or wireless operation according to your preferences.

3.1 Powering with USB (Wired Use)

Use the included USB-C to USB-A cable for a stable wired connection. Plug the USB-C end into the port on the Clevy Keyboard.

3.2 Powering with Batteries

For wireless use, the Clevy Keyboard can also run on 2x AA batteries (not included). Install them in the compartment on the back of the keyboard.

3.3 3.3 Turning Wireless Mode on

Set the Wireless Mode switch on the back of the keyboard to ‘BT’ for Bluetooth connection. Set the wireless switch to ‘OFF’ to disable wireless connectivity. For connection priority behavior, see Section 3.

WIRED POWER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS: The device must act as a USB host and provide enough power. Most computers do this automatically. Some setups, especially with USB-C adapters or mobile devices, may require a powered USB hub or a USB-C adapter with Power Delivery (PD) for the keyboard to work.

3.4 Bluetooth Pairing

If no previous wireless connection is detected and the wireless switch setting allows for wireless connectivity, the right LED will start flashing automatically. This indicates that the keyboard is in pairing mode and ready to establish a new connection with a compatible device. Note: For connection priority behavior, see Section 3.

Go to the Bluetooth preferences of your computer and search for devices.

Set the Wireless Mode switch on the back of the Clevy Keyboard to ‘BT’. Pairing mode will start automatically.

Within 10 seconds, briefly press the Pair button on the backside of the Clevy Keyboard.

The pairing mode is active when the right LED will blink continuously in blue. The pairing mode will stay active for 3 minutes.

The device ‘Clevy KB3’ should appear on your device. Activate it and start using it after following the steps suggested by your operating system.

After a successful connection, the right LED will slowly BREATHE BLUE every 5 seconds. The Clevy Keyboard is ready to use in Bluetooth mode.

BATTERY REMOVAL: If you are not intending to use your Clevy Keyboard for an extended period of time, it is advisable to remove both AA batteries to prevent battery leakage, which may damage the product.

BATTERY WARNING: Do not mix old and new batteries and do not mix brands or types. Observe polarity. Do not use damaged or leaking batteries.

4. Connectivity Priority

Understanding the connectivity priority of your Clevy Keyboard, along with the wireless switch settings, helps ensure seamless and efficient connectivity based on different usage scenarios.

4.1 USB-C Connection Priority:

If the keyboard is plugged in via USB-C cable, it will prioritize the wired connections, except when it is in pairing mode.

4.2 Wireless Connection Priority:

If the keyboard is not plugged in it will automatically search for and connect to the latest existing Bluetooth connections, depending on the wireless switch setting.

4.3 Wireless Mode

BT (Bluetooth)	The keyboard will prioritize Bluetooth connections if the wireless switch setting is set to ‘BT’.
OFF	Disables all wireless connections and powers off the keyboard, unless connected via USB.

* NOTE: The shortcut to turn on ABCDE-layout always uses the same physical key position (the key immediately to the right of Tab), regardless of the printed letter. This applies in all supported Latin layouts. The ABCDE layout is not available for Cyrillic layouts.

6. Features

The Clevy Keyboard has many unique features and functions that make it an assistive keyboard.

6.1 Print Screen (Screenshot Function).

This version of the Clevy Keyboard includes a shortcut for creating a screenshot, useful on systems without a dedicated Print Screen (PrtSc) key.

'ALT' + 'ALTGR' + 'P'

Captures entire screen (Print Screen)

On Windows, this copies the current screen to the clipboard. You can paste it into programs such as Paint, Word, or an email.

On macOS, the shortcut performs the same function as 'SHIFT' + 'COMMAND' + '3', saving the screenshot to the desktop.

6.2 Key Repeat & Function Keys Tool switch

On the backside of the keyboard, on the left, there is a Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool switch. This switch allows you to choose between two operating modes: Normal Keyboard Mode and Assistive Technology Mode:

1. Normal Keyboard Mode
(Key Repeat ON / Function Keys Tool OFF)

Set the switch to the UP position.
Enables Key Repeat, allowing continuous character repetition when holding down a key.
Works like a standard keyboard and is suitable for most users.

2. Assistive Technology Mode
(Key Repeat OFF / Function Keys Tool ON)

Set the switch to the DOWN position.
Disables Key Repeat, preventing unintended repeated characters when a key is held down.
Enables the Function Keys Tool, which allows easy access to Function Keys (F1–F12) using the F key and a number key.

	Key Repeat = ON Function Keys Tool = OFF	Normal Keyboard Mode: standard typing with continuous key repeat.
	Key Repeat = OFF Function Keys Tool = ON	Assistive Technology Mode: disables key repeat and enables Function Keys Tool for accessibility.

NOTE – Key Repeat on macOS and iOS On macOS and iOS, the operating system disables Key Repeat by default. To use continuous character repetition on these systems, enable it manually in your Keyboard or Accessibility settings.This operating system setting does not affect the Function Keys Tool or Assistive Technology Mode on the keyboard itself.

When the switch is set to Assistive Technology Mode (Function Keys Tool):

NOTE: These shortcuts are based on the US-International layout of the Clevy Keyboard. On other layouts, the keys for F11 and F12 may differ. As a rule, they are the two keys located directly below the Backspace key.

Tip: Assistive Technology Mode is recommended if you want to avoid unintended key repeats and still need access to Function Keys on a keyboard without dedicated F1 to F12 keys.

6.3 Function Keys Mode without using the switch

This version of the Clevy Keyboard allows easy access to function keys through the number row, without using the Key Repeat & Function Keys Tool Switch. This lets users keep the Key Repeat function while still using the function keys. The function keys mode remains active until a number key is pressed to generate the corresponding function key output. After the output is generated, the function keys mode automatically deactivates.

Hold 'ALTGR' + 'F'for 2 seconds to activate Function Keys Mode, then press one of the following:
‘1’ = F1	‘2’ = F2	‘3’ = F3	‘4’ = F4	‘5’ = F5	‘6’ = F6
‘7’ = F7	‘8’ = F8	‘9’ = F9	‘0’ = F10	‘[’ = F11	‘]’ = F12

NOTE:
These shortcuts are based on the US-International layout of the Clevy Keyboard. On other layouts, the keys for F11 and F12 may differ. As a rule, they are the two keys located directly below the Backspace key.

6.4 Disable Windows Key

The Windows key can be disabled to prevent the Start Menu or system shortcuts from being activated accidentally.
This is useful for users with motor impairments or in educational settings where unintentional key combinations should be avoided.

'ALTGR' + 'CAPS LOCK' (3 seconds)

Note: On macOS, the Windows key functions as the Command (⌘) key. Disabling it will also disable Command shortcuts while active.

6.5 Sticky Keys

Sticky Keys is an accessibility feature designed to assist users who have difficulty pressing multiple keys at once. Users can press modifier keys such as 'CTRL', 'ALT', 'SHIFT', 'WIN/MAC' one at a time when entering commands.

Hold 'CTRL' + 'SHIFT' for 5 seconds to turn on 'Sticky Keys Tool', then press and hold one of the following:
‘ALT’ (2 seconds)	Makes the Alt-key sticky.
‘ALTGR’ (2 seconds)	Makes the Altgr-key sticky.
‘CTRL’ (2 seconds)	Makes the CTRL-key sticky.
‘SHIFT’ (2 seconds)	Makes the Shift-key sticky.
‘WIN/MAC’ (2 seconds)	Makes the WIN/MAC-key sticky.
‘F’ (2 seconds)	Makes the F-key sticky (useful for Function Keys Tool mode, allowing F1–F12 access without holding two keys simultaneously)

To unstick a specific key, press that same key again.

NOTE: Multiple modifier keys can be sticky at the same time. Examples:

Make CTRL sticky, then ALT sticky, and press Delete to send Ctrl + Alt + Delete, which opens the Windows Security menu in Windows 11 (for locking, switching users, or opening Task Manager).

Make ALT sticky, then F sticky, and press 4 to send Alt + F4 (close window).

Tip: The Sticky Keys Tool stays active until turned off with CTRL + SHIFT (5 seconds).

6.6 Input Detection Mode

This mode provides direct feedback for every key press. The Right LED lights up orange with each detected press, or briefly flashes if the LED is already active. This visual confirmation supports users with limited finger sensation and those who benefit from clear visual feedback.

6.7 Adjust LED Brightness

You can adjust the brightness of the keyboard’s indicator LEDs.

The easiest way to do this is while Caps Lock is active as the left LED will then glow static orange, making brightness changes clearly visible.

This feature is especially useful for users with low vision: the LEDs can be made brighter for better visibility or dimmed if the light is too intense or distracting.

Connection differences:

In USB mode, the right LED is always on, making brightness changes easy to see.

In Bluetooth mode, the right LED gently pulses blue, so brightness changes are less noticeable.

Press 'ALTGR' + 'ARROW UP ↑' to increase the LED brightness, or 'ALTGR' + 'ARROW DOWN ↓' to decrease it. These are the brightness levels:
Level 1	Off
Level 2	25%
Level 3	50%
Level 4	75%
Level 5	100%

Tip: Use USB mode when adjusting brightness for the most accurate visual feedback. Lower brightness can also help save battery power in Bluetooth mode.

6.8 Change to iPad Mode

The Clevy Keyboard can switch between Computer Mode (Default) and iPad Mode. These modes are built into the keyboard itself. No software installation is required. Feature availability may vary depending on the iPadOS version and VoiceOver QuickNav settings.

The keyboard’s default is Computer Mode, which works with all devices, including iPads. To switch modes, use the following shortcuts:

‘CTRL’ + ‘ALT’ + ‘I’ (3 seconds)	Turns the keyboard in iPad Mode.
‘CTRL’ + ‘ALT’ + ‘C’ (3 seconds)	Turns the keyboard in Computer Mode (Default).

While in iPad Mode
‘ARROW UP ↑’ + ‘ARROW DOWN ↓’	Works like ENTER or SELECT, opening the highlighted item. A short delay between pressing UP and DOWN ensures they don’t need to be pressed simultaneously.
‘ARROW LEFT ←’	Moves left through apps, buttons, or text on the screen.
‘ARROW RIGHT →’	Moves right through apps, buttons, or text on the screen.
‘HOME’	Works like the iPad’s Home button, quickly returning to the main screen.
‘ALTGR’ (in text fields)	Toggles QuickNav on or off for Apple VoiceOver, switching between moving across screen items and navigating by individual letters.

6.9 Change to ABCDE Layout

With this version of the Clevy Keyboard, you can switch to the ABCDE (Alphabetical) layout. This changes the layout from QWERTY, AZERTY, or QWERTZ to ABCDE. The ABCDE layout is available for all supported Latin-based language layouts.

To make the physical key labels match the new input, you must rearrange the keycaps manually from their current order (for example, QWERTY) into the alphabetical ABCDE sequence.

When switching to ABCDE, you do not need to change the keyboard layout in your operating system. The change happens entirely inside the keyboard.

* NOTE: The shortcut always uses the same physical key position (the key immediately to the right of Tab), regardless of the printed letter. This applies in all supported Latin layouts. The ABCDE layout is not available for Cyrillic layouts.

6.10 Factory Reset

To restore the keyboard to its factory settings, press 'ALT' + 'ALTGR' + 'R'. Both LEDs will turn on and cycle through all colors (Rainbow colors) to indicate that the reset is complete. After resetting, you’ll need to set up Bluetooth again for the keyboard to work properly. All other keyboard settings will also be lost.

7. LED Behavior

Understanding the LED indicators on your Clevy Keyboard helps you stay informed about its connectivity status and battery level, ensuring a seamless typing experience.

7.1 Left-LED feedback

The Left LED indicates the activation or deactivation of certain modes and statuses, triggered by keyboard shortcuts. It may display a solid color or a blinking color, depending on what mode is activated.

7.2 Right-LED feedback

The Right LED indicates the keyboard’s current mode or status, such as pairing mode, Bluetooth mode, or low battery.

8. Cleaning Instructions

Ingress: Not waterproof; no IP rating.

Spill Response:

Immediately disconnect the USB cable and switch the keyboard to OFF.
Remove both AA batteries.
Allow liquid to drain via the drainage holes. Do not shake and do not rotate. Keep as is.
Air‑dry for 24–48 hours; do not use heat sources.
Inspect for residue or corrosion before reuse; if issues persist, contact support.

Maintain the safety and functionality of your Clevy Keyboard with these straightforward cleaning steps:

Before Cleaning:

Disconnect the keyboard from the power sources (USB & AA batteries).
Turn off the keyboard if using a wireless connection with the switch on the backside of the keyboard.
Pick up the keyboard and hold it upside down, so any debris can fall out.

Recommended Cleaning Agents: Clean your keyboard using a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and excessive moisture to prevent damage. The keycaps' protective coating safeguards against wear from frequent cleaning.

For disinfecting, use isopropyl alcohol with a concentration of 70-90%. Avoid using harsh solvents like acetone or toluene that could damage the keycaps over time.

Cleaning Tools: Employ soft, non-abrasive cloths or wipes to prevent scratching the keycaps.

Cleaning Process: Gently wipe the keyboard's surface, including keys and casing, with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Use minimal pressure to avoid any potential damage from vigorous scrubbing.

Moisture Management: Ensure the cloth is damp, not wet, to avoid excess moisture that could seep into the keyboard.

Drying: Allow the keyboard to air dry completely before reconnecting any power source or turning it on.

Regular Maintenance: Clean regularly to prevent buildup of grime and debris, particularly in shared or frequent-use environments. Perform spot cleaning as soon as spills or soiling occur to maintain optimal hygiene and functionality.

Protective Measures: Although your keyboard is more durable, consider using our Clevy Cover (silicone) in high-risk environments to further protect against physical wear and spills. These simple steps will help keep your Clevy Keyboard clean and in good working condition, ensuring a safe and hygienic experience for all users.

9. Reuse

Before reuse or transfer to another user, the Clevy Keyboard must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to the cleaning instructions in this manual.

Do not reuse the device under the following conditions:

If any visible damage, cracks, or excessive wear are present.
If the USB connector, battery compartment, or housing shows signs of corrosion, deformation, or liquid ingress.
If accessories such as keyguards or covers are damaged, worn, or cannot be disinfected properly.

Accessories (such as keyguards and silicone covers) must also be cleaned and disinfected before reuse.

Only reuse the device if it is fully functional, clean, and dry. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to hygiene risks, malfunction, or user injury.

10. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your keyboard, here are some common troubleshooting steps you can take:

Check Connection: Check if the Wireless switch on the back is set to the setting you are looking for. Ensure that the keyboard is properly connected to your device, whether wired or wirelessly. Verify that the pairing process for Bluetooth is completed successfully.
Power Supply: If your keyboard is not functioning, check the battery level if you are using AA batteries. Alternatively, ensure that the USB cable is securely connected and providing power.
Key Functionality: If certain keys are not functioning as expected, check for any debris or obstructions that may be affecting key movement. Clean the keyboard with compressed air or a soft brush if necessary.
Switch Position: Verify the position of the switch on the back of the keyboard. Ensure that it is set to the desired mode (Key Repeat or Function Keys Tool) and try toggling it to see if it resolves the issue.
Reset: If all else fails, you can perform a reset on your keyboard. To reset your keyboard, press and hold ‘ALT’ + ‘ALTGR’ + ‘R’ for 3 seconds. This will restore all settings to factory defaults, including Bluetooth, input modes (e.g. iPad/Computer), layout, and input detection preferences.

1. Einführung

Die Clevy Tastatur ist eine minimalistische, vielseitige und angenehm taktile mechanische Tastatur. Sie bietet barrierearme Schreiblösungen für Menschen, die Unterstützung beim Tippen benötigen, und ist zugleich eine gute Einstiegstastatur für Kinder. Sie verwendet taktile ALPS-Schalter für eine klare, intuitive Rückmeldung.

1.1 Zweckbestimmung

Die Clevy Keyboard 3 ist ein Eingabehilfsmittel für Texteingaben. Sie unterstützt Menschen, für die eine Standardtastatur weniger gut funktioniert – zum Beispiel bei motorischen, visuellen oder kognitiven Herausforderungen – und eignet sich außerdem als Einstiegstastatur für Kinder. Große, kontrastreiche Tastenkappen, ein angepasstes Schriftbild und optionale Fingerführungen (Keyguards) fördern eine präzise Tastenbetätigung und reduzieren unbeabsichtigte Eingaben.

1.2 Einsatzindikationen

Menschen mit eingeschränkter Feinmotorik oder reduzierter Handkraft, die von größeren Tasten und Keyguards profitieren.
Menschen mit Sehbeeinträchtigung, die große, kontrastreiche Tasten und ein klares Schriftbild benötigen.
Menschen mit besonderen Entwicklungsbedürfnissen (z. B. Autismus oder Lernherausforderungen), die eine einfache, strukturierte Eingabe bevorzugen.
Kinder im Vorschul- oder Grundschulalter zum Erlernen der Tastaturnutzung.

1.3 Nicht geeignet für

Nicht geeignet für:

Nutzerinnen/Nutzer, die ohne zusätzliche Zugangslösungen keine bewussten Tastenbetätigungen ausführen können.
Nutzerinnen/Nutzer mit so starker motorischer Einschränkung, dass eine Tastatur nicht bedienbar ist.
Nutzerinnen/Nutzer ohne ausreichende kognitive Fähigkeiten zur Computerbedienung.

Allgemeine Richtlinie: Nicht verwenden, wenn der vorgesehene Zweck nicht erreichbar ist oder wenn medizinischer Rat wiederholte, intensive Fingerbewegungen abrät.

1.4 Mögliche Risiken

Fehlfunktion oder elektrischer Schaden bei Nutzung in nassen oder stark verschmutzten Umgebungen.
Beschädigung durch Stürze oder mechanische Stöße.
Ergonomische Belastung durch anhaltend ungünstige Körperhaltung oder Überlastung.
Erstickungsgefahr, falls kleine Teile wie Tastenkappen sich lösen. Außer Reichweite kleiner Kinder aufbewahren.
Oberflächen-/Finishschäden durch aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel.

3. Erste Schritte

Folgen Sie diesen Schritten, um Ihre Clevy Tastatur schnell und angenehm zu verbinden – kabelgebunden oder drahtlos.

3.1 Versorgung per USB (kabelgebunden)

Verwenden Sie das mitgelieferte USB-C-auf-USB-A-Kabel für eine stabile Verbindung. Schließen Sie das USB-C-Ende an der Tastatur an.

3.2 Versorgung per Batterien

Für den drahtlosen Betrieb kann die Tastatur mit 2× AA-Batterien (nicht enthalten) betrieben werden. Einsetzen im Batteriefach auf der Rückseite.

3.3 Aktivieren des drahtlosen Modus (Wireless Mode)

Stellen Sie den Wireless Mode-Schalter auf BT (Bluetooth), um die Funktion zu aktivieren. Stellen Sie den Wireless Mode auf OFF, um Funkverbindungen zu deaktivieren. Die Reihenfolge der Verbindungspräferenz finden Sie in Kapitel 4.

ANFORDERUNGEN AN DIE USB-VERSORGUNG
Das angeschlossene Gerät muss als USB-Host fungieren und ausreichend Strom bereitstellen. Besonders bei USB-C-Adaptern und Mobilgeräten ist darauf zu achten. In manchen Fällen ist ein aktiver USB-Hub oder ein USB-C-Adapter mit Power Delivery (PD) erforderlich.

3.4 Bluetooth koppeln

Wird keine frühere Funkverbindung erkannt und erlaubt der Wireless Mode dies, beginnt die rechte LED automatisch zu blinken: Die Tastatur ist im Kopplungsmodus.

Hinweis: Die Verbindungspräferenz finden Sie in Kapitel 4.

Öffnen Sie die Bluetooth-Einstellungen und suchen Sie nach Geräten.

Stellen Sie den Wireless Mode-Schalter auf der Rückseite der Clevy Tastatur auf BT. Der Kopplungsmodus startet automatisch.

Drücken Sie innerhalb von 10 Sekunden kurz die Kopplungstaste auf der Rückseite der Clevy Tastatur.

Der Kopplungsmodus ist aktiv, wenn die rechte LED fortlaufend blau blinkt. Der Modus bleibt 3 Minuten aktiv.

Das Gerät Clevy KB3 erscheint auf Ihrem Bildschirm. Wählen Sie es aus und folgen Sie den Systemhinweisen.

Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung „atmet“ die rechte LED langsam BLAU – alle 5 Sekunden. Die Clevy Tastatur ist im Bluetooth-Modus einsatzbereit.

BATTERIEN ENTFERNEN Bei längerer Nichtnutzung beide AA-Batterien entnehmen, um Leckagen zu vermeiden.

BATTERIEHINWEIS Keine alten und neuen Batterien mischen; keine unterschiedlichen Typen/Marken kombinieren. Auf Polarität achten. Keine beschädigten oder auslaufenden Batterien verwenden.

4. Verbindungspräferenz

So wählt die Tastatur automatisch die beste Verbindung – abhängig von Situation und Stellung des Wireless Mode-Schalters.

4.1 Vorrang für USB-C

Ist das USB‑C‑Kabel angeschlossen, hat die Kabelverbindung Vorrang (außer während des Kopplungsmodus).

4.2 Vorrang für Funk ohne Kabel

Ohne Kabel verbindet die Tastatur automatisch mit der zuletzt genutzten Bluetooth-Verbindung – abhängig vom Wireless Mode-Schalter.

4.3 Wireless Mode – Stellungen

Ihre Clevy Tastatur steckt voller Funktionen, die Tippen leichter und angenehmer machen.

6.1 Print Screen (Bildschirmfoto)

Nützlich auf Systemen ohne separate Print-Screen-Taste.

Windows: Kopiert den aktuellen Bildschirm in die Zwischenablage.
macOS: Entspricht SHIFT + COMMAND + 3 – Ablage auf dem Schreibtisch.

6.2 Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool – Schalter

Links auf der Rückseite befindet sich der Schalter für Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool (Wiederholung / Funktionstasten-Werkzeug). Hier wählen Sie zwischen Normal und Assistive Technology.

Standardverhalten für die meisten Nutzerinnen/Nutzer.

Verhindert unbeabsichtigte Wiederholungen beim Halten.
Ermöglicht Funktionstasten (F1–F12) über die F-Taste plus Zahl/Zeichen.

Hinweis – macOS und iOS In macOS und iOS ist Key Repeat oft standardmäßig deaktiviert. Aktivieren Sie dies bei Bedarf in den Einstellungen. Diese OS-Einstellung beeinflusst das Function Keys Tool auf der Tastatur nicht.

HINWEIS: Diese Kombinationen basieren auf dem US‑International‑Layout. In anderen Layouts können F11/F12 an anderen Positionen liegen; häufig sind es die beiden Tasten direkt unter Backspace.

6.3 Function Keys Modus ohne Schalter

Vorübergehend aktivieren mit ALTGR + F (2 s). Drücken Sie dann 1–0, [ oder ] für F1–F12. Nach Nutzung schaltet der Modus automatisch aus. So bleibt Key Repeat aktiv.

6.4 Windows-Taste deaktivieren

ALTGR + CAPS LOCK (3 s)

Hinweis: Unter macOS wirkt die Windows-Taste als Command (⌘). Das Deaktivieren betrifft daher auch Command-Kombinationen.

6.5 Sticky Keys

Erleichtert Tastenkombinationen, wenn gleichzeitiges Drücken schwierig ist.

Halten Sie CTRL + SHIFT (5 s), um die Sticky Keys zu aktivieren. Machen Sie anschließend eine Taste sticky, indem Sie sie 2 s gedrückt halten:
ALT / ALTGR / CTRL / SHIFT / WIN/MAC / F	Zum Deaktivieren dieselbe Taste erneut drücken. Mehrere sticky Tasten gleichzeitig möglich.

Beispiele: Ctrl sticky, dann Alt sticky und Delete → Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Oder Alt sticky, F sticky und 4 → Alt+F4.

6.6 Eingabeanzeige

CTRL + ALTGR (5 s)

Bei jeder Tastenbetätigung leuchtet die rechte LED kurz orange für direkte Rückmeldung.

6.7 LED-Helligkeit anpassen

Sie können die Helligkeit der Indikator-LEDs anpassen. Am deutlichsten sehen Sie die Änderung, während Caps Lock aktiv ist: Die linke LED leuchtet dann konstant orange.

Besonders hilfreich bei eingeschränktem Sehvermögen: Heller für bessere Sichtbarkeit, dunkler wenn das Licht zu intensiv oder ablenkend ist.

Unterschiede je nach Verbindung:

Im USB-Modus ist die rechte LED dauerhaft an – Helligkeitsänderungen sind gut sichtbar.
Im Bluetooth-Modus „atmet“ die rechte LED sanft blau – Änderungen fallen weniger auf.

Drücken Sie ALTGR + ARROW UP ↑, um die LED-Helligkeit zu erhöhen, oder ALTGR + ARROW DOWN ↓, um sie zu verringern. Helligkeitsstufen:

Tipp: Passen Sie die Helligkeit am besten im USB-Betrieb an, um die deutlichste visuelle Rückmeldung zu erhalten.

6.8 iPad-Modus

Ihre Clevy Tastatur kann zwischen Computermodus (Standard) und iPad‑Modus wechseln. Alles geschieht in der Tastatur – keine Softwareinstallation nötig. Die Verfügbarkeit von Funktionen kann von iPadOS und VoiceOver‑QuickNav abhängen.

Im iPad‑Modus:
ARROW UP ↑ + ARROW DOWN ↓	Wirkt als ENTER/AUSWÄHLEN und öffnet das markierte Element. Eine kurze Verzögerung zwischen ↑ und ↓ sorgt dafür, dass sie nicht exakt gleichzeitig gedrückt werden müssen.
ARROW LEFT ←	Navigiert nach links durch Apps, Schaltflächen oder Text.
ARROW RIGHT →	Navigiert nach rechts durch Apps, Schaltflächen oder Text.
HOME	Wirkt als iPad‑Home‑Taste.
ALTGR (in Textfeldern)	Schaltet QuickNav für Apple VoiceOver ein/aus und wechselt zwischen Element‑ bzw. Zeichen‑Navigation.

6.9 ABCDE‑Layout

Wechsel zu einem alphabetischen (ABCDE) Layout. Möchten Sie die physische Beschriftung anpassen, tauschen Sie die Tastenkappen.

ABCDE‑Layout an/aus

Die Tastenkombination verwendet stets dieselbe physische Position (direkt rechts neben Tab), unabhängig von der Beschriftung. Nicht für kyrillische Layouts verfügbar.

6.10 Werksreset

Setzen Sie alle Einstellungen mit ALT + ALTGR + R zurück. Beide LEDs leuchten in Regenbogenfarben auf als Bestätigung. Nach einem Reset müssen Bluetooth neu gekoppelt werden; auch weitere Präferenzen kehren zu Standard zurück.

8. Reinigung

Schutzart: nicht wasserdicht; keine IP‑Klassifizierung.

Bei Flüssigkeitseintritt

USB trennen und den Wireless Mode auf OFF stellen.
Beide AA‑Batterien entnehmen.
Flüssigkeit über die Ablauföffnungen ablaufen lassen. Nicht schütteln oder drehen.
24–48 Stunden an der Luft trocknen lassen (keine Wärmequellen).
Vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme auf Rückstände/Korrosion prüfen.

Regelmäßige Reinigung

Alle Stromquellen trennen (USB und AA‑Batterien).
Bei Funkbetrieb: Wireless Mode auf OFF stellen.
Tastatur vorsichtig kippen, damit Staub und Krümel herausfallen.

9. Wiederverwendung

Vor Wiederverwendung oder Weitergabe gründlich reinigen und desinfizieren. Nicht wiederverwenden bei sichtbarer Beschädigung, Korrosion oder Zubehör, das nicht ausreichend zu desinfizieren ist.

10. Fehlerbehebung

Verbindung – Stellung des Wireless Mode-Schalters prüfen und Kopplung kontrollieren.
Versorgung – Batterien bzw. USB‑Kabel und Hostleistung prüfen.
Tasten – Schmutz entfernen und erneut testen.
Schalter – Zwischen Normal und Assistive Technology wechseln und testen.

Gracias por elegir Clevy. En este manual encontrará, paso a paso, cómo configurar y usar su teclado —con cable o inalámbrico— y cómo sacar el máximo partido a sus funciones inteligentes.

1. Introducción

Clevy Keyboard es un teclado mecánico minimalista, versátil y con una sensación táctil agradable. Ofrece una experiencia de escritura accesible para quienes agradecen apoyo adicional y es también una gran opción inicial para niñas y niños. Utiliza ALPS-switches táctiles para un feedback claro e intuitivo.

1.1 Uso previsto

Clevy Keyboard 3 es una ayuda de entrada para escribir texto. Está pensado para personas a quienes un teclado estándar les resulta menos adecuado —por ejemplo, ante retos motrices, visuales o cognitivos— y también como teclado de iniciación para la infancia. Las teclas grandes y de alto contraste, el tipo de letra propio y los keyguards opcionales ayudan a pulsar con precisión y reducen pulsaciones involuntarias.

1.2 Indicaciones

Personas con motricidad fina limitada o fuerza de mano reducida que se beneficien de teclas grandes y de keyguards.
Personas con baja visión que precisan teclas grandes y de alto contraste con un diseño de letra claro.
Personas con necesidades de apoyo en el desarrollo (p. ej., autismo o dificultades de aprendizaje) que prefieren una entrada sencilla y estructurada.
Niñas y niños en edad preescolar o primaria para aprender a usar un teclado.

Usuarios que, sin ayudas de acceso adicionales, no puedan realizar pulsaciones conscientes.
Usuarios con una limitación motora tan amplia que impida manejar un teclado.
Usuarios sin las habilidades cognitivas necesarias para manejar un ordenador.

Orientación general: No usar cuando el uso previsto no sea alcanzable o cuando el consejo médico desaconseje movimientos digitales intensos y repetidos.

1.4 Riesgos posibles

Fallo o daño eléctrico si se usa en entornos mojados o muy sucios.
Daños por caídas o golpes.
Carga ergonómica por postura inadecuada mantenida o sobreuso.
Peligro de atragantamiento si pequeñas piezas (p. ej., keycaps) se desprenden. Mantener fuera del alcance de niños pequeños.
Daños de superficie/acabado al limpiar con productos agresivos o disolventes.

3. Empezar

Siga estos pasos para conectar su Clevy Keyboard de forma rápida y cómoda —con cable o inalámbrico—.

3.1 Alimentación por USB (uso con cable)

Utilice el cable USB‑C a USB‑A incluido para una conexión estable. Conecte el extremo USB‑C al puerto del teclado.

3.2 Alimentación por baterías

Para uso inalámbrico, el teclado también puede funcionar con 2× AA (no incluidas). Inserte las baterías en el compartimento trasero.

3.3 Activación del modo inalámbrico (Wireless Mode)

Ajuste el interruptor Modo inalámbrico a BT para establecer una conexión Bluetooth. Ajústelo a OFF para desactivar la conexión inalámbrica. Consulte el capítulo 4 para conocer las preferencias de conexión.

REQUISITOS DE ALIMENTACIÓN USB El dispositivo conectado debe actuar como host USB y suministrar suficiente potencia. Algunas configuraciones —por ejemplo, adaptadores USB‑C o móviles— pueden requerir un hub USB alimentado o un adaptador USB‑C con Power Delivery (PD).

3.4 Emparejar por Bluetooth

Si no se encuentra una conexión inalámbrica previa y el interruptor lo permite, el LED derecho empezará a parpadear: el teclado entra en modo de emparejamiento.

Nota: Consulte el capítulo 4 sobre la preferencia de conexión.

Abra los ajustes de Bluetooth de su dispositivo y busque equipos.

Ponga el interruptor de Wireless Mode del Clevy Keyboard en BT. El modo de emparejamiento se inicia automáticamente.
– O –
Pulse brevemente, en menos de 10 segundos, el botón de emparejamiento (Pairing button) en la parte trasera del teclado.

El modo de emparejamiento está activo cuando el LED derecho parpadea azul de forma continua. Permanece activo durante 3 minutos.

En la pantalla aparecerá el equipo Clevy KB3. Selecciónelo y siga las indicaciones del sistema.

Al conectarse correctamente, el LED derecho «respira» lentamente en AZUL cada 5 segundos. El teclado está listo en modo Bluetooth.

RETIRAR LAS BATERÍAS Si no va a usar el teclado durante un tiempo prolongado, retire las dos AA para evitar fugas.

ADVERTENCIA SOBRE BATERÍAS No mezcle baterías viejas y nuevas ni tipos/marcas diferentes. Respete la polaridad. No use baterías dañadas o con fugas.

4. Preferencia de conexión

Así decide el teclado la mejor conexión en función de la situación y de la posición del interruptor de Wireless Mode.

4.1 Prioridad para USB‑C

Si el cable USB‑C está conectado, la conexión con cable tiene prioridad (salvo durante el modo de emparejamiento).

4.2 Prioridad para inalámbrico sin cable

Sin cable, el teclado se conecta automáticamente al último enlace Bluetooth —según la posición del interruptor—.

4.3 Posiciones de Wireless Mode

6. Funciones

Su Clevy Keyboard está lleno de funciones que facilitan y hacen más agradable escribir.

6.1 Print Screen (captura de pantalla)

Útil en sistemas sin tecla dedicada de Print Screen.

ALT + ALTGR + P

Capturar pantalla completa (Print Screen)

Windows: copia la pantalla al portapapeles.
macOS: equivale a SHIFT + COMMAND + 3; la captura se guarda en el escritorio.

6.2 Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool – interruptor

En la parte trasera izquierda encontrará el interruptor de Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool (Repetición de teclas / Herramienta de teclas de función). Permite elegir entre Normal y Assistive Technology.

Mueva el interruptor hacia arriba.
El carácter se repite al mantener pulsada la tecla.
Comportamiento estándar para la mayoría de usuarios.

2. Assistive Technology
Key Repeat OFF / Function Keys Tool ON

Mueva el interruptor hacia abajo.
Evita repeticiones no deseadas al mantener pulsado.
Activa las teclas de función (F1–F12) mediante la tecla F más número/símbolo.

	Key Repeat ON Function Keys Tool OFF	Normal: escritura estándar con repetición.
	Key Repeat OFF Function Keys Tool ON	Assistive Technology: sin repetición, con acceso rápido a F‑teclas.

NOTA – macOS y iOS En macOS y iOS, Key Repeat suele estar desactivado por defecto. Actívelo si es necesario en Teclado o Accesibilidad. Este ajuste del sistema no afecta a Function Keys Tool en el propio teclado.

Con Assistive Technology (Function Keys Tool ON) activo:
F + 1 = F1	F + 2 = F2	F + 3 = F3	F + 4 = F4	F + 5 = F5	F + 6 = F6

NOTA: Estas combinaciones se basan en el layout US‑International. En otros layouts, F11/F12 pueden estar en posiciones distintas; normalmente son las dos teclas justo debajo de Backspace.

6.3 Modo Function Keys sin el interruptor

Active temporalmente con ALTGR + F (2 s). Después pulse 1–0, [ o ] para enviar F1–F12. Al terminar, el modo se desactiva solo. Así Key Repeat permanece activo.

6.4 Desactivar la tecla Windows

ALTGR + CAPS LOCK (3 s)

Nota: En macOS, la tecla Windows actúa como Command (⌘). Desactivarla afecta también a atajos con Command.

6.5 Herramienta Sticky Keys

Facilita las combinaciones cuando pulsar varias teclas a la vez resulta difícil.

Mantenga CTRL + SHIFT (5 s) para activar la herramienta de Sticky Keys. Después, haga «sticky» una tecla manteniéndola 2 s:
ALT / ALTGR / CTRL / SHIFT / WIN/MAC / F	Pulse la misma tecla de nuevo para desactivarla. Se admiten varias teclas «sticky» a la vez.

Ejemplos: Ctrl sticky, luego Alt sticky y pulse Delete → Ctrl+Alt+Delete. O Alt sticky, F sticky y 4 → Alt+F4.

6.6 Indicador de entrada

CTRL + ALTGR (5 s)

Activar/desactivar

Con cada pulsación, el LED derecho se ilumina brevemente en naranja como feedback inmediato.

6.7 Ajustar el brillo de los LED

Puede ajustar el brillo de los LED indicadores. Lo verá con más claridad mientras Caps Lock está activo: el LED izquierdo luce naranja de forma constante.

Especialmente útil en baja visión: más brillo para mejor visibilidad o menos si la luz resulta intensa o distrae.

Diferencias según conexión:

En modo USB, el LED derecho está encendido siempre; los cambios se ven con claridad.
En modo Bluetooth, el LED derecho «respira» en azul; los cambios se aprecian menos.

Pulse ALTGR + ARROW UP ↑ para aumentar el brillo o ALTGR + ARROW DOWN ↓ para disminuirlo. Niveles de brillo:

Nivel 3	50 %
Nivel 4	75 %
Nivel 5	100 %

Consejo Ajuste el brillo preferiblemente con USB para ver mejor los cambios. En Bluetooth, un brillo menor también ahorra batería.

6.8 Modo iPad

El teclado puede alternar entre modo ordenador (predeterminado) y modo iPad. Todo sucede en el propio teclado; no necesita instalar software. La disponibilidad de funciones puede depender de iPadOS y de QuickNav de VoiceOver.

ARROW UP ↑ + ARROW DOWN ↓	Actúa como ENTER/SELECCIONAR y abre el elemento resaltado. Un breve retardo entre ↑ y ↓ evita que deban pulsarse exactamente a la vez.
ARROW LEFT ←	Navega a la izquierda entre apps, botones o texto.
ARROW RIGHT →	Navega a la derecha entre apps, botones o texto.
HOME	Actúa como botón de inicio del iPad.
ALTGR (en campos de texto)	Activa/desactiva QuickNav de Apple VoiceOver y cambia entre navegación por elementos y carácter a carácter.

6.9 Layout ABCDE

Cambie a un layout alfabético (ABCDE). ¿Quiere que la serigrafía física coincida? Sustituya las keycaps.

ABCDE activar/desactivar

El atajo usa siempre la misma posición física (justo a la derecha de Tab), independientemente de la leyenda. No disponible para layouts cirílicos.

6.10 Restablecer de fábrica

Restaure todos los ajustes con ALT + ALTGR + R. Ambos LED se iluminan con colores en «arcoíris» como confirmación. Tras el reset, deberá volver a emparejar Bluetooth; otras preferencias regresan a valores de fábrica.

Los dos LED RGB le mantienen informado sobre estado y conexión.

8. Limpieza

Grado de protección: no es estanco; sin clasificación IP.

Si entra líquido

Desconecte USB y ponga el interruptor de Wireless Mode en OFF.
Retire ambas AA.
Deje salir el líquido por los orificios de drenaje. No agite ni gire el teclado.
Deje secar al aire 24–48 h (sin fuentes de calor).
Antes de volver a usar, compruebe que no haya restos ni corrosión.

Limpieza habitual

Desconecte toda alimentación (USB y baterías AA).
En uso inalámbrico: ponga el interruptor en OFF.
Incline con cuidado para que caigan polvo y migas.

Limpie con un paño suave sin pelusa ligeramente humedecido con agua. Para desinfectar: alcohol isopropílico al 70–90 %. Evite disolventes agresivos. Deje secar por completo antes de reconectar.

9. Reutilización

Antes de reutilizar o transferir a otra persona: limpie y desinfecte a fondo. No reutilice si hay daños visibles, corrosión o accesorios difíciles de desinfectar.

10. Solución de problemas

Conexión – Verifique la posición del interruptor Wireless Mode y si el emparejamiento se realizó.
Alimentación – Revise baterías o cable USB y la potencia del host.
Teclas – Elimine suciedad y pruebe de nuevo.
Interruptor – Cambie entre Normal y Assistive Technology y pruebe.
Reset – ALT + ALTGR + R (3 s) restablece todos los ajustes.

3. Mise en route

En suivant ces instructions, vous pouvez configurer facilement votre Clevy Keyboard en mode filaire ou sans fil selon vos préférences.

3.1 Alimentation par USB, usage filaire

Utilisez le câble USB C vers USB A fourni pour une connexion filaire stable. Branchez l’extrémité USB C sur le port du Clevy Keyboard.

3.2 Alimentation par piles

Pour un usage sans fil, le Clevy Keyboard peut aussi fonctionner avec 2 piles AA, non fournies. Installez les piles dans le compartiment au dos du clavier.

3.3 Activation du mode sans fil

Réglez le commutateur « Wireless Mode » situé à l'arrière du clavier sur BT pour établir une connexion Bluetooth. Réglez le commutateur sur OFF pour désactiver la connectivité sans fil. Pour en savoir plus sur le comportement en matière de priorité de connexion, reportez-vous à la section 4.

ALIMENTATION EN MODE FILAIRE L’appareil connecté doit agir comme hôte USB et fournir une puissance suffisante. La plupart des ordinateurs le font automatiquement. Certains ensembles, en particulier avec des adaptateurs USB C ou des appareils mobiles, peuvent nécessiter un hub USB alimenté ou un adaptateur USB C avec Power Delivery, PD, pour que le clavier fonctionne.

3.4 Appairage Bluetooth

Si aucune connexion sans fil précédente n’est détectée et que la position de l’interrupteur permet la connectivité sans fil, la LED droite commence à clignoter automatiquement. Cela indique que le clavier est en mode d’appairage et prêt à se connecter à un appareil compatible. Remarque Pour le comportement de priorité de connexion, voir la section 4.

Ouvrez les préférences Bluetooth de votre appareil et recherchez des périphériques.

Réglez l’interrupteur Wireless Mode au dos du Clevy Keyboard sur BT. Le mode d’appairage démarre automatiquement.

Dans les 10 secondes, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton Pair au dos du Clevy Keyboard.

Le mode d’appairage est actif lorsque la LED droite clignote en continu en bleu. Le mode reste actif pendant 3 minutes.

Le périphérique Clevy KB3 doit apparaître sur votre appareil. Sélectionnez le périphérique et suivez les étapes proposées par votre système.

Après la connexion, la LED droite effectue une respiration lente en BLEU toutes les 5 secondes. Le Clevy Keyboard est prêt en mode Bluetooth.

RETRAIT DES PILES Si vous n’utilisez pas votre Clevy Keyboard pendant une période prolongée, il est recommandé de retirer les deux piles AA afin d’éviter toute fuite qui pourrait endommager le produit.

AVERTISSEMENT PILES Ne mélangez pas des piles anciennes et neuves et ne mélangez pas les marques ou les types. Respectez la polarité. N’utilisez pas de piles endommagées ou fuyantes.

4. Priorité de connectivité

Comprendre la priorité de connectivité de votre Clevy Keyboard, ainsi que les positions de l’interrupteur sans fil, permet d’assurer une connexion fluide et efficace selon les scénarios d’usage.

4.1 Priorité de la connexion USB C

Si le clavier est branché via le câble USB C, il privilégie la connexion filaire, sauf lorsqu’il est en mode d’appairage.

4.2 Priorité des connexions sans fil

Si le clavier n’est pas branché, il recherche et se reconnecte automatiquement à la dernière connexion Bluetooth, selon la position de l’interrupteur sans fil.

4.3 Interrupteur Wireless Mode

6. Fonctions

Le Clevy Keyboard propose des fonctions utiles qui en font un clavier d’assistance.

6.1 Capturer l’écran, fonction Print Screen

Cette version du Clevy Keyboard inclut un raccourci pour créer une capture d’écran, pratique sur les systèmes sans touche dédiée PrtSc.

Sous Windows, cela copie l’écran courant dans le presse papiers. Vous pouvez coller l’image dans Paint, Word ou un email.

Sous macOS, le raccourci réalise l’équivalent de SHIFT + COMMAND + 3 et enregistre la capture d’écran sur le bureau.

6.2 Interrupteur Key Repeat et Function Keys Tool

Au dos du clavier, sur la gauche, se trouve un interrupteur Key Repeat, Function Keys Tool. Il permet de choisir entre deux modes, Mode clavier normal et Mode technologie d’assistance.

Mettez l’interrupteur en position haute.
Active Key Repeat, la répétition continue du caractère lors d’un appui maintenu.
Fonctionne comme un clavier standard, convient à la plupart des utilisateurs.

2. Mode technologie d’assistance
Key Repeat désactivé, Function Keys Tool activé

Mettez l’interrupteur en position basse.
Désactive Key Repeat, ce qui évite les caractères répétés involontaires lors d’un appui prolongé.
Active Function Keys Tool, qui permet d’accéder facilement aux touches de fonction, F1 à F12, avec la touche F et une touche chiffre.

Pour obtenir une répétition continue des caractères, activez la fonction dans les réglages Clavier ou Accessibilité. Ce réglage du système n’affecte pas Function Keys Tool ni le Mode technologie d’assistance sur le clavier.

Astuce Le Mode technologie d’assistance est recommandé si vous voulez éviter les répétitions involontaires tout en ayant accès aux touches de fonction sur un clavier sans F1 à F12 dédiées.

6.3 Mode touches de fonction sans utiliser l’interrupteur

Cette version du Clevy Keyboard permet d’accéder facilement aux touches de fonction via la rangée des chiffres, sans utiliser l’interrupteur Key Repeat, Function Keys Tool. Les utilisateurs conservent ainsi Key Repeat tout en utilisant les touches de fonction. Le mode reste actif jusqu’à l’appui sur une touche chiffre qui génère la touche de fonction correspondante, puis il se désactive automatiquement.

6.4 Désactiver la touche Windows

La touche Windows peut être désactivée pour éviter l’activation involontaire du menu Démarrer ou des raccourcis système.
C’est utile pour les utilisateurs qui apprécient davantage de contrôle, ou dans des contextes éducatifs où l’on veut éviter des combinaisons accidentelles.

Remarque Sur macOS, la touche Windows agit comme la touche Command, ⌘. La désactiver désactive aussi les raccourcis Command pendant l’activation.

6.5 Sticky Keys

Sticky Keys est une fonction d’accessibilité qui aide les personnes qui ont du mal à appuyer sur plusieurs touches en même temps. Les utilisateurs peuvent appuyer séparément sur des touches modifiatrices comme CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, WIN, MAC lorsqu’ils saisissent des commandes.

Maintenez CTRL + SHIFT pendant 5 secondes pour activer Sticky Keys Tool, puis maintenez l’une des touches suivantes

Pour annuler l’état collant d’une touche, appuyez à nouveau sur cette même touche.

NOTE Plusieurs touches modifiatrices peuvent être collantes en même temps. Exemples

Rendez CTRL collante, puis ALT collante, puis appuyez sur Delete pour envoyer Ctrl + Alt + Delete, ouvre le menu Sécurité de Windows 11.

Rendez ALT collante, puis F collante, puis appuyez sur 4 pour envoyer Alt + F4, ferme la fenêtre.

Astuce Sticky Keys Tool reste actif jusqu’à sa désactivation avec CTRL + SHIFT, 5 secondes.

6.6 Mode Input Detection

Ce mode fournit un retour direct à chaque frappe. La LED droite s’allume en orange à chaque détection, ou clignote brièvement si la LED est déjà active. Cette confirmation visuelle soutient les utilisateurs qui apprécient un retour visuel clair.

6.7 Régler la luminosité des LED

Vous pouvez ajuster la luminosité des voyants du clavier.

L’option la plus simple consiste à le faire quand Caps Lock est actif, la LED gauche brille alors en orange fixe, ce qui rend les changements de luminosité bien visibles.

Cette fonction est particulièrement utile pour les personnes avec basse vision, les LED peuvent être plus lumineuses pour une meilleure visibilité, ou plus faibles si la lumière est trop intense.

Différences selon la connexion

En mode USB, la LED droite est toujours allumée, les changements de luminosité sont faciles à observer.

En mode Bluetooth, la LED droite pulse doucement en bleu, les changements sont moins visibles.

Appuyez sur ALTGR + FLÈCHE HAUT ↑ pour augmenter la luminosité, ou sur ALTGR + FLÈCHE BAS ↓ pour la diminuer. Niveaux disponibles

Astuce Utilisez le mode USB pour régler la luminosité, le retour visuel est le plus précis. Une luminosité plus faible peut aider à économiser la batterie en mode Bluetooth.

6.8 Passer en mode iPad

Le Clevy Keyboard peut basculer entre Computer Mode, par défaut, et iPad Mode. Ces modes sont intégrés au clavier. Aucune installation de logiciel n’est nécessaire. Les fonctions disponibles peuvent varier selon la version d’iPadOS et les réglages QuickNav de VoiceOver.

Le mode par défaut est Computer Mode, compatible avec tous les appareils, iPad inclus. Pour changer de mode, utilisez les raccourcis suivants

HOME	Fonctionne comme le bouton principal de l’iPad, retour rapide à l’écran d’accueil.
ALTGR dans un champ texte	Active ou désactive QuickNav pour Apple VoiceOver, bascule entre la navigation par éléments et la navigation lettre par lettre.

6.9 Passer à la disposition ABCDE

Avec cette version du Clevy Keyboard, vous pouvez passer à la disposition ABCDE, disposition alphabétique. La disposition passe de QWERTY, AZERTY ou QWERTZ à ABCDE. La disposition ABCDE est disponible pour toutes les dispositions basées sur l’alphabet latin.

Pour faire correspondre les étiquettes physiques des keycaps à la nouvelle saisie, il faut réarranger manuellement les keycaps depuis l’ordre actuel, par exemple QWERTY, vers la séquence alphabétique ABCDE.

Quand vous passez à ABCDE, vous n’avez pas besoin de changer la disposition du clavier dans votre système. Le changement se fait entièrement dans le clavier.

6.10 Réinitialisation usine

Pour rétablir les réglages d’usine, appuyez sur ALT + ALTGR + R. Les deux LED s’allument et parcourent toutes les couleurs, arc en ciel, pour indiquer la fin de la réinitialisation. Après la réinitialisation, vous devez refaire les appairages Bluetooth pour que le clavier fonctionne correctement. Tous les autres réglages du clavier sont aussi réinitialisés.

7. Comportement des LED

Comprendre les voyants du Clevy Keyboard permet de rester informé de l’état de connectivité et du niveau de piles, pour une expérience fluide.

7.1 Retour de la LED gauche

La LED gauche indique l’activation ou la désactivation de certains modes et états, déclenchée par des raccourcis. Elle peut afficher une couleur fixe ou clignotante selon le mode.

7.2 Retour de la LED droite

La LED droite indique le mode ou l’état courant du clavier, par exemple mode d’appairage, mode Bluetooth ou piles faibles.

8. Nettoyage

Pénétration, non étanche, aucun indice IP.

En cas de liquide renversé

Débranchez immédiatement le câble USB et mettez l’interrupteur sur OFF.
Retirez les deux piles AA.
Laissez le liquide s’évacuer par les orifices. Ne secouez pas et ne tournez pas. Laissez tel quel.
Laissez sécher à l’air libre pendant 24 à 48 heures, n’utilisez pas de source de chaleur.
Vérifiez l’absence de résidus ou de corrosion avant réutilisation, si un doute persiste, contactez le support.

Maintenez la sécurité et la fonctionnalité de votre Clevy Keyboard grâce à ces étapes simples

Avant de nettoyer

Déconnectez le clavier de toute alimentation, USB et piles AA.
Si vous utilisez une connexion sans fil, Bluetooth, mettez l’interrupteur au dos sur OFF.
Saisissez le clavier et retournez le, pour laisser tomber les poussières.

Agents de nettoyage recommandés Nettoyez le clavier avec un chiffon doux non pelucheux légèrement humide. Évitez les nettoyants abrasifs et l’excès d’humidité pour prévenir les dommages. Le revêtement protecteur des keycaps résiste au nettoyage fréquent.

Pour la désinfection, utilisez de l’alcool isopropylique à 70 à 90 pour cent. Évitez les solvants agressifs comme l’acétone ou le toluène qui pourraient endommager les keycaps à la longue.

Outils de nettoyage Utilisez des chiffons doux non abrasifs pour éviter de rayer les keycaps.

Procédure Essuyez doucement la surface du clavier, touches et boîtier, avec un chiffon légèrement imbibé d’alcool isopropylique. Utilisez une pression légère pour éviter toute usure due à un frottement trop vigoureux.

Gestion de l’humidité Le chiffon doit être humide et non mouillé, évitez tout excès pouvant s’infiltrer dans le clavier.

Séchage Laissez sécher complètement à l’air libre avant de reconnecter une alimentation ou de rallumer.

Entretien régulier Nettoyez régulièrement pour éviter l’accumulation de saleté, surtout en usage partagé. Traitez les salissures dès qu’elles surviennent pour conserver une bonne hygiène et une fonctionnalité optimale.

Mesures de protection Votre clavier est robuste, mais envisagez l’utilisation de notre Clevy Cover, silicone, dans les environnements à risque pour une protection supplémentaire. Ces étapes aident à garder votre Clevy Keyboard propre et en bon état, pour une expérience sûre et agréable.

9. Réutilisation

Avant toute réutilisation ou transfert à un autre utilisateur, le Clevy Keyboard doit être nettoyé et désinfecté conformément aux instructions de ce manuel.

Ne réutilisez pas l’appareil dans les cas suivants

Si des dommages visibles, fissures ou usure excessive sont présents.
Si le connecteur USB, le compartiment des piles ou le boîtier montrent des signes de corrosion, de déformation ou d’infiltration de liquide.
Si des accessoires comme les protège touches ou les housses sont endommagés, usés ou ne peuvent pas être désinfectés correctement.

Les accessoires, par exemple protège touches et housses en silicone, doivent aussi être nettoyés et désinfectés avant réutilisation.

Réutilisez l’appareil uniquement s’il est pleinement fonctionnel, propre et sec. Le non respect de ces instructions peut présenter des risques d’hygiène, de mauvais fonctionnement ou de blessure.

10. Dépannage

Si vous rencontrez un problème, voici des étapes courantes de dépannage

Vérifier la connexion Vérifiez la position de l’interrupteur Wireless au dos. Confirmez que le clavier est correctement connecté à votre appareil, en filaire ou sans fil. Pour Bluetooth vérifiez que l’appairage est complet.
Alimentation Si le clavier ne fonctionne pas, vérifiez le niveau des piles si vous utilisez des AA. Sinon, assurez vous que le câble USB est bien connecté et qu’il fournit l’alimentation.
Fonction des touches Si certaines touches ne répondent pas comme prévu, vérifiez la présence possible de débris qui gênent le mouvement. Nettoyez au besoin avec de l’air comprimé ou une brosse douce.
Position de l’interrupteur Vérifiez la position de l’interrupteur au dos du clavier. Assurez vous qu’il est réglé sur le mode souhaité, Key Repeat ou Function Keys Tool, et essayez de le basculer pour voir si cela résout le souci.
Réinitialiser En dernier recours, vous pouvez réinitialiser le clavier. Pour cela, maintenez ALT + ALTGR + R pendant 3 secondes. Cela restaure tous les réglages d’usine, y compris Bluetooth, les modes d’entrée, iPad, Computer, la disposition et les préférences Input Detection.

1. Introduzione

Il Clevy Keyboard è una tastiera meccanica minimale, versatile e tattile che offre una digitazione accessibile e funge anche da tastiera introduttiva per bambini. Dispone di switch di tipo ALPS, ideale per chi apprezza un ritorno chiaro e intuitivo.

1.1 Scopo previsto

Clevy Keyboard 3 è un dispositivo di input assistivo pensato per facilitare la digitazione a utenti che hanno difficoltà a usare tastiere standard a causa di limitazioni motorie, visive o cognitive. È adatto anche come tastiera di primo livello per bambini. Tasti grandi e ad alto contrasto, caratteri adattati e, opzionalmente, keyguard aiutano a premere i tasti con precisione e riducono le pressioni accidentali.

1.2 Indicazioni

Persone con ridotte abilità motorie fini o ridotta forza della mano, per cui tasti più grandi e keyguard risultano utili.
Persone con ipovisione, che beneficiano di tasti grandi e ad alto contrasto e di caratteri adattati.
Persone con disturbi del neurosviluppo, per esempio autismo o disturbi dell’apprendimento, che preferiscono dispositivi di input semplici e strutturati.
Bambini della scuola dell’infanzia o primaria, come strumento introduttivo all’uso della tastiera.

1.3 Controindicazioni

Questo prodotto non è adatto a

utenti che non possono eseguire pressioni intenzionali dei tasti senza metodi di accesso adattati
utenti con limitazioni motorie molto gravi per i quali una tastiera non è utilizzabile
utenti senza capacità cognitive sufficienti per interagire con un computer

Regola generale Non utilizzare il dispositivo quando lo scopo previsto non può essere raggiunto o se un parere medico sconsiglia movimenti ripetuti delle dita.

3.Getting started

Seguendo queste istruzioni puoi configurare facilmente il tuo Clevy Keyboard per l’uso cablato o wireless secondo le tue preferenze.

3.1 Alimentazione via USB, uso cablato

Usa il cavo USB C verso USB A in dotazione per una connessione cablata stabile. Inserisci l’estremità USB C nella porta del Clevy Keyboard.

3.2 Alimentazione con batterie

Per l’uso wireless, il Clevy Keyboard può funzionare anche con 2 batterie AA, non incluse. Installale nel vano sul retro della tastiera.

3.3 Attivazione della modalità wireless

Impostare l'interruttore della modalità wireless sul retro della tastiera su BT per la connessione Bluetooth. Impostare l'interruttore su OFF per disattivare la connettività wireless. Per informazioni sul comportamento delle priorità di connessione, consultare la Sezione 3.

REQUISITI DI ALIMENTAZIONE CABLATA Il dispositivo collegato deve comportarsi come host USB e fornire potenza sufficiente. La maggior parte dei computer lo fa automaticamente. Alcuni setup, in particolare con adattatori USB C o dispositivi mobili, possono richiedere un hub USB alimentato o un adattatore USB C con Power Delivery, PD, per far funzionare la tastiera.

3.4 Abbinamento Bluetooth

Se non viene rilevata una precedente connessione wireless e l’impostazione dell’interruttore consente la connettività wireless, il LED destro inizierà a lampeggiare automaticamente. Indica che la tastiera è in modalità di abbinamento ed è pronta a connettersi a un dispositivo compatibile. Nota Per il comportamento di priorità di connessione, vedi Sezione 3.

Apri le preferenze Bluetooth del tuo dispositivo e cerca i dispositivi.

Imposta l’interruttore Wireless Mode sul retro del Clevy Keyboard su BT. La modalità di abbinamento parte automaticamente.
oppure
Entro 10 secondi premi brevemente il Pairing button sul retro del Clevy Keyboard.

La modalità di abbinamento è attiva quando il LED destro lampeggia continuamente in blu. Resta attiva per 3 minuti.

Il dispositivo Clevy KB3 dovrebbe comparire sul tuo dispositivo. Selezionalo e segui i passaggi suggeriti dal sistema.

Dopo la connessione, il LED destro effettua una respirazione lenta in BLU ogni 5 secondi. Il Clevy Keyboard è pronto in modalità Bluetooth.

RIMOZIONE DELLE BATTERIE Se non prevedi di usare il tuo Clevy Keyboard per un periodo prolungato, è consigliabile rimuovere entrambe le batterie AA per prevenire perdite che potrebbero danneggiare il prodotto.

AVVERTENZA SULLE BATTERIE Non mescolare batterie vecchie e nuove e non mescolare marche o tipi. Rispetta la polarità. Non usare batterie danneggiate o che perdono.

4. Priorità di connettività

Comprendere la priorità di connettività del tuo Clevy Keyboard e le posizioni dell’interruttore wireless aiuta ad avere connessioni fluide secondo gli scenari d’uso.

4.1 Priorità della connessione USB C

Se la tastiera è collegata con il cavo USB C, privilegia la connessione cablata, tranne quando è in modalità di abbinamento.

4.2 Priorità delle connessioni wireless

Se la tastiera non è collegata via cavo, cerca e si riconnette automaticamente all’ultima connessione Bluetooth, secondo la posizione dell’interruttore wireless.

4.3 Interruttore Wireless Mode

BT, Bluetooth	La tastiera privilegia il Bluetooth se l’interruttore è impostato su BT.
OFF	Disattiva tutte le connessioni wireless e spegne la tastiera, a meno che non sia collegata via USB.

6. Funzioni

Clevy Keyboard offre molte funzioni utili che lo rendono una tastiera assistiva.

6.1 Catturare lo schermo, funzione Print Screen

Questa versione del Clevy Keyboard include una scorciatoia per creare uno screenshot, utile sui sistemi senza tasto dedicato PrtSc.

ALT + ALTGR + P

Cattura l’intero schermo, Print Screen

Su Windows copia lo schermo corrente negli appunti. Puoi incollare l’immagine in Paint, Word o in un’email.

Su macOS la scorciatoia esegue l’equivalente di SHIFT + COMMAND + 3 e salva lo screenshot sul desktop.

6.2 Interruttore Key Repeat e Function Keys Tool

Sul retro della tastiera, a sinistra, si trova l’interruttore Key Repeat, Function Keys Tool. Consente di scegliere tra due modalità, Normal Keyboard Mode e Assistive Technology Mode.

1. Normal Keyboard Mode
Key Repeat attivo, Function Keys Tool disattivo

Metti l’interruttore in posizione alta.
Attiva Key Repeat, ripetizione continua del carattere tenendo premuto un tasto.
Funziona come una tastiera standard, adatta alla maggior parte degli utenti.

2. Assistive Technology Mode
Key Repeat disattivo, Function Keys Tool attivo

Metti l’interruttore in posizione bassa.
Disattiva Key Repeat, evita ripetizioni involontarie durante una pressione prolungata.
Attiva Function Keys Tool, accesso facile ai tasti funzione, F1 a F12, con il tasto F e un tasto numero.

	Key Repeat, ON Function Keys Tool, OFF	Normal Keyboard Mode digitazione standard con ripetizione continua.
	Key Repeat, OFF Function Keys Tool, ON	Assistive Technology Mode disattiva la ripetizione e attiva Function Keys Tool per l’accessibilità.

Nota, Key Repeat su macOS e iOS Su macOS e iOS il sistema disattiva Key Repeat per impostazione predefinita. Per avere la ripetizione continua dei caratteri, attivala nelle impostazioni di Tastiera o Accessibilità. Questa impostazione del sistema non influisce su Function Keys Tool né su Assistive Technology Mode sulla tastiera.

NOTA Queste scorciatoie si basano sul layout US International del Clevy Keyboard. Con altri layout i tasti per F11 e F12 possono differire. In genere sono i due tasti posti direttamente sotto Backspace.

Suggerimento Assistive Technology Mode è consigliata se vuoi evitare ripetizioni involontarie e allo stesso tempo hai bisogno dei tasti funzione su una tastiera senza F1 a F12 dedicati.

6.3 Function Keys Mode senza usare l’interruttore

Questa versione del Clevy Keyboard permette un accesso facile ai tasti funzione tramite la riga dei numeri senza usare l’interruttore Key Repeat, Function Keys Tool. In questo modo puoi mantenere Key Repeat attivo e usare comunque i tasti funzione. La modalità resta attiva finché non premi un tasto numero che genera il corrispondente tasto funzione, poi si disattiva automaticamente.

Tieni premuti ALTGR + F per 2 secondi per attivare Function Keys Mode, poi premi

NOTA
Queste scorciatoie si basano sul layout US International del Clevy Keyboard. Con altri layout i tasti per F11 e F12 possono differire. In genere sono i due tasti posti direttamente sotto Backspace.

6.4 Disattivare il tasto Windows

Il tasto Windows può essere disattivato per evitare l’attivazione involontaria del menu Start o di scorciatoie di sistema.
È utile per chi apprezza un maggiore controllo o in contesti educativi in cui si vogliono evitare combinazioni accidentali.

ALTGR + CAPS LOCK (3 secondi)

Disattiva o attiva il tasto Windows

Nota Su macOS il tasto Windows funziona come Command, ⌘. La sua disattivazione disattiva anche le scorciatoie Command durante l’attivazione.

6.5 Sticky Keys

Sticky Keys è una funzione di accessibilità che aiuta chi ha difficoltà a premere più tasti insieme. Puoi premere separatamente i tasti modificatori come CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, WIN, MAC quando inserisci comandi.

Tieni premuti CTRL + SHIFT per 5 secondi per attivare Sticky Keys Tool, poi tieni premuto uno dei seguenti
ALT (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto Alt appiccicoso, sticky.
ALTGR (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto Altgr appiccicoso.
CTRL (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto CTRL appiccicoso.
SHIFT (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto Shift appiccicoso.
WIN, MAC (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto WIN, MAC appiccicoso.
F (2 secondi)	Rende il tasto F appiccicoso (utile con Function Keys Tool, permette l’accesso a F1 a F12 senza tenere premuti due tasti)

Per annullare lo stato appiccicoso di un tasto, premi di nuovo lo stesso tasto.

NOTA Più tasti modificatori possono essere appiccicosi allo stesso tempo. Esempi

Rendi CTRL appiccicoso, poi ALT appiccicoso, poi premi Canc per inviare Ctrl + Alt + Canc, apre il menu Sicurezza di Windows 11.

Rendi ALT appiccicoso, poi F appiccicoso, poi premi 4 per inviare Alt + F4, chiude la finestra.

Suggerimento Sticky Keys Tool resta attivo finché non lo disattivi con CTRL + SHIFT, 5 secondi.

6.6 Modalità Input Detection

Questa modalità fornisce un riscontro diretto a ogni pressione. Il LED destro si illumina in arancione a ogni rilevazione, oppure lampeggia brevemente se il LED è già attivo. Questa conferma visiva aiuta chi apprezza un ritorno visivo chiaro.

6.7 Regolare la luminosità dei LED

Puoi regolare la luminosità dei LED della tastiera.

Il modo più semplice è farlo quando Caps Lock è attivo, il LED sinistro brilla allora in arancione statico e i cambi di luminosità sono evidenti.

Questa funzione è utile per chi ha ipovisione, i LED possono essere più luminosi per una migliore visibilità, oppure più deboli se la luce è troppo intensa.

Differenze in base alla connessione

In modalità USB il LED destro è sempre acceso, i cambi di luminosità sono facili da osservare.

In modalità Bluetooth il LED destro pulsa dolcemente in blu, i cambi sono meno visibili.

Premi ALTGR + FRECCIA SU ↑ per aumentare la luminosità oppure ALTGR + FRECCIA GIÙ ↓ per diminuirla. Livelli disponibili

Suggerimento Usa la modalità USB quando regoli la luminosità, il riscontro visivo è più preciso. Una luminosità più bassa aiuta anche a risparmiare batteria in modalità Bluetooth.

6.8 Passare a iPad Mode

Clevy Keyboard può passare tra Computer Mode, predefinita, e iPad Mode. Queste modalità sono integrate nella tastiera. Non è necessaria alcuna installazione software. Le funzioni disponibili possono variare in base alla versione di iPadOS e alle impostazioni QuickNav di VoiceOver.

La modalità predefinita è Computer Mode, compatibile con tutti i dispositivi, iPad inclusi. Per cambiare modalità usa le scorciatoie seguenti

6.9 Passare al layout ABCDE

Con questa versione del Clevy Keyboard puoi passare al layout ABCDE, layout alfabetico. Il layout passa da QWERTY, AZERTY o QWERTZ a ABCDE. Il layout ABCDE è disponibile per tutti i layout basati sull’alfabeto latino.

Per far corrispondere le etichette fisiche dei keycap al nuovo input è necessario riordinare manualmente i keycap dall’ordine attuale, per esempio QWERTY, alla sequenza alfabetica ABCDE.

Quando passi ad ABCDE non devi cambiare il layout della tastiera nel sistema operativo. Il cambiamento avviene interamente nella tastiera.

* NOTA La scorciatoia usa sempre la stessa posizione fisica del tasto, il tasto immediatamente a destra di Tab, indipendentemente dal carattere stampato. Si applica a tutti i layout latini supportati. Il layout ABCDE non è disponibile per i layout in cirillico.

6.10 Ripristino impostazioni di fabbrica

Per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica, premi ALT + ALTGR + R. Entrambi i LED si accendono e scorrono tutti i colori, arcobaleno, per indicare il completamento del ripristino. Dopo il ripristino devi rifare gli abbinamenti Bluetooth per far funzionare correttamente la tastiera. Anche tutte le altre impostazioni della tastiera vengono ripristinate.

7. Comportamento dei LED

Comprendere i LED del Clevy Keyboard aiuta a restare informati sullo stato di connettività e sul livello batterie, per un’esperienza fluida.

7.1 Feedback del LED sinistro

Il LED sinistro indica l’attivazione o disattivazione di alcune modalità e stati, attivata da scorciatoie. Può mostrare un colore fisso o lampeggiante a seconda della modalità.

8. Pulizia

Ingress, non impermeabile, nessun grado IP.

In caso di liquido versato

Scollega subito il cavo USB e porta l’interruttore su OFF.
Rimuovi entrambe le batterie AA.
Lascia defluire il liquido dai fori. Non scuotere e non capovolgere. Lascia com’è.
Lascia asciugare all’aria per 24 a 48 ore, non usare fonti di calore.
Controlla l’assenza di residui o corrosione prima del riuso, in caso di dubbi contatta il supporto.

Mantieni sicuro e funzionale il tuo Clevy Keyboard con questi passaggi semplici

Prima di pulire

Scollega la tastiera da ogni alimentazione, USB e batterie AA.
Se usi una connessione wireless, Bluetooth, porta l’interruttore posteriore su OFF.
Prendi la tastiera e capovolgila leggermente, così eventuali detriti possono cadere.

Agenti di pulizia consigliati Pulisci la tastiera con un panno morbido non peloso leggermente inumidito. Evita detergenti abrasivi e umidità eccessiva per prevenire danni. Il rivestimento protettivo dei keycap resiste a pulizie frequenti.

Per la disinfezione usa alcol isopropilico al 70 a 90 per cento. Evita solventi aggressivi come acetone o toluene che potrebbero danneggiare i keycap nel tempo.

Strumenti di pulizia Usa panni morbidi non abrasivi per evitare graffi sui keycap.

Procedura Passa delicatamente sulla superficie della tastiera, tasti e scocca, con un panno leggermente imbevuto di alcol isopropilico. Usa una pressione leggera per evitare usura da sfregamento vigoroso.

Gestione dell’umidità Il panno deve essere umido e non bagnato, evita eccessi che potrebbero penetrare nella tastiera.

Asciugatura Lascia asciugare completamente all’aria prima di ricollegare alimentazione o riaccendere.

Manutenzione regolare Pulisci regolarmente per evitare accumuli di sporco, soprattutto in uso condiviso. Intervieni subito sulle macchie per mantenere igiene e funzionalità ottimali.

Misure protettive La tua tastiera è robusta, ma valuta l’uso della nostra Clevy Cover in silicone in ambienti a rischio per una protezione aggiuntiva. Questi passaggi aiutano a mantenere pulito e in buone condizioni il tuo Clevy Keyboard, per un’esperienza sicura e piacevole.

9. Riutilizzo

Prima del riutilizzo o del trasferimento a un altro utente, il Clevy Keyboard deve essere pulito e disinfettato secondo le istruzioni di questo manuale.

Non riutilizzare il dispositivo nei seguenti casi

se sono presenti danni visibili, crepe o usura eccessiva
se il connettore USB, il vano batterie o la scocca mostrano segni di corrosione, deformazione o infiltrazione di liquidi
se accessori come keyguard o cover sono danneggiati, usurati o non possono essere disinfettati correttamente

Anche gli accessori, per esempio keyguard e cover in silicone, devono essere puliti e disinfettati prima del riutilizzo.

Riutilizza il dispositivo solo se è pienamente funzionale, pulito e asciutto. Il mancato rispetto di queste istruzioni può comportare rischi di igiene, malfunzionamenti o lesioni.

10. Risoluzione dei problemi

Se riscontri un problema, ecco passaggi comuni di troubleshooting

Verifica della connessione Controlla la posizione dell’interruttore Wireless sul retro. Assicurati che la tastiera sia correttamente collegata al tuo dispositivo, cablata o wireless. Per Bluetooth verifica che l’abbinamento sia completo.
Alimentazione Se la tastiera non funziona, controlla il livello batterie se usi AA. In alternativa assicurati che il cavo USB sia ben collegato e fornisca alimentazione.
Funzione dei tasti Se alcuni tasti non rispondono come previsto, verifica la presenza di detriti che ostacolano il movimento. Pulisci al bisogno con aria compressa o una spazzola morbida.
Posizione dell’interruttore Verifica la posizione dell’interruttore sul retro della tastiera. Assicurati che sia impostato sulla modalità desiderata, Key Repeat o Function Keys Tool, e prova a commutarlo per vedere se risolve.
Reimpostazione Come ultima risorsa puoi reimpostare la tastiera. Per farlo tieni premuti ALT + ALTGR + R per 3 secondi. Questo ripristina tutte le impostazioni di fabbrica, inclusi Bluetooth, modalità di input, per esempio iPad, Computer, layout e preferenze di Input Detection.

Bedankt voor uw aankoop van het Clevy Keyboard. In deze handleiding leest u helder en stap-voor-stap hoe u alles instelt en gebruikt – bedraad of draadloos – en hoe u het meeste haalt uit de slimme functies.

1. Introductie

Het Clevy Keyboard is een minimalistisch, veelzijdig en prettig tastend mechanisch toetsenbord. Het biedt toegankelijke typoplossingen voor mensen die ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken én is een fijne instapper voor kinderen. Het maakt gebruik van tactiele ALPS-switches voor duidelijke, intuïtieve feedback.

1.1 Beoogd gebruik

Het Clevy Keyboard 3 is een hulpmiddel voor tekstinvoer. Het helpt mensen voor wie een standaardtoetsenbord minder goed werkt – bijvoorbeeld bij motorische, visuele of cognitieve uitdagingen – en het is ook geschikt als instaptoetsenbord voor kinderen. Grote, contrastrijke keycaps, het aangepaste lettertype en optionele keyguards ondersteunen nauwkeurig toets indrukken en beperken onbedoelde aanslagen.

1.2 Indicaties

Mensen met beperkte fijne motoriek of verminderde handkracht die baat hebben bij grotere toetsen en keyguards.
Mensen met een visuele beperking die grote, contrastrijke toetsen en een duidelijk lettertype waarderen.
Mensen met een ontwikkelingsachtergrond (zoals autisme of leeruitdagingen) die gebaat zijn bij een eenvoudige en gestructureerde invoer.
Kinderen in voor- of basisschoolleeftijd om het gebruik van een toetsenbord te leren.

1.3 Niet geschikt voor

Niet geschikt voor:

Gebruikers die zonder aanvullende toegangsoplossingen geen bewuste toetsaanslagen kunnen uitvoeren.
Gebruikers met zodanig beperkte motoriek dat een toetsenbord niet bedienbaar is.
Gebruikers zonder voldoende cognitieve vaardigheden om met een computer te werken.

Algemene richtlijn: Niet gebruiken wanneer het beoogde gebruik niet haalbaar is of wanneer medisch advies intensieve, herhaalde vingerbewegingen afraadt.

1.4 Mogelijke risico’s

Storing of elektrische schade bij gebruik in natte of sterk vervuilde omgevingen.
Schade door vallen of mechanische schokken.
Ergonomische belasting door langdurige onjuiste houding of overbelasting.
Verstikkingsgevaar als kleine onderdelen zoals keycaps losraken. Buiten bereik van jonge kinderen houden.
Beschadiging van oppervlak of afwerking bij reinigen met agressieve middelen of oplosmiddelen.

1.5 CE- en MDR-etikettering en productidentificatie

Dit product is een medisch hulpmiddel klasse I onder Verordening (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) en draagt de CE-markering. Classificatie: klasse I, niet-metend, niet-steriel.

Opmerking over lay-outvarianten en UDI-DI
Als uitsluitend keycaps worden vervangen om de zichtbare lay-out te wijzigen, blijft de UDI-DI op het productlabel ongewijzigd. Alleen het lay-outlabel op de verpakking wordt aangepast. Zo voorkomen we verwarring en blijft de traceerbaarheid behouden, omdat er geen essentiële ontwerp-, prestatie- of veiligheidskenmerken veranderen.

3. Aan de slag

Volg deze stappen om uw Clevy Keyboard snel en prettig te verbinden – bedraad of draadloos.

3.1 Voeding via USB (bedraad gebruik)

Gebruik de meegeleverde USB-C naar USB-A-kabel voor een stabiele verbinding. Sluit het USB-C-uiteinde aan op de poort van het Clevy Keyboard.

3.2 Voeding via batterijen

Voor draadloos gebruik kan het Clevy Keyboard ook werken op 2× AA-batterijen (niet inbegrepen). Plaats de batterijen in het vak aan de achterzijde.

3.3 Draadloze modus aanzetten (Wireless Mode)

Zet de Wireless Mode switch aan de achterzijde op de juiste stand: BT voor Bluetooth. Zet de Wireless Mode switch op OFF om draadloos uit te schakelen. Zie hoofdstuk 4 voor de verbindingsvoorkeur.

VEREISTEN VOEDING VIA USB Het aangesloten apparaat moet als USB-host functioneren en voldoende vermogen leveren. Sommige opstellingen – bijvoorbeeld USB-C-adapters of mobiele apparaten – kunnen een gevoede USB-hub of een USB-C-adapter met Power Delivery (PD) vereisen.

3.4 Bluetooth koppelen

Wordt er geen eerdere draadloze verbinding gevonden en staat de Wireless Mode switch dit toe, dan gaat de rechter LED automatisch knipperen: het toetsenbord staat in koppelstand.

Let op: Zie hoofdstuk 4 voor de verbindingsvoorkeur.

Open de Bluetooth-instellingen van uw apparaat en zoek naar apparaten.

Zet de Wireless Mode switch op de achterzijde van het Clevy Keyboard op BT. De koppelstand start automatisch.

Druk binnen 10 seconden kort op de Koppelknop (Pairing button) op de achterzijde van het Clevy Keyboard.

De koppelstand is actief wanneer de rechter LED doorlopend blauw knippert. De koppelstand blijft 3 minuten actief.

Het apparaat Clevy KB3 verschijnt op uw scherm. Selecteer dit en volg de stappen van uw besturingssysteem.

Na een geslaagde verbinding ademt de rechter LED langzaam BLAUW iedere 5 seconden. Het Clevy Keyboard is klaar voor gebruik in Bluetooth-modus.

BATTERIJEN VERWIJDEREN Gebruikt u de Clevy Keyboard langere tijd niet? Verwijder beide AA-batterijen om lekkage te voorkomen.

BATTERIJWAARSCHUWING Meng geen oude en nieuwe batterijen en meng geen verschillende merken of typen. Let op de polariteit. Gebruik geen beschadigde of lekkende batterijen.

4. Verbindingsvoorkeur

Zo kiest het toetsenbord automatisch de beste verbinding, afhankelijk van de situatie en de stand van de Wireless Mode switch.

4.1 USB-C heeft voorrang

Is de USB-C-kabel aangesloten, dan heeft de bedrade verbinding voorrang (behalve tijdens koppelstand).

4.2 Draadloos heeft voorrang zonder kabel

Zonder kabel maakt het toetsenbord automatisch verbinding met de meest recente Bluetooth-verbinding – afhankelijk van de stand van de Wireless Mode switch.

4.3 Standen Wireless Mode

6.1 Print Screen (schermafbeelding)

Handig op systemen zonder aparte Print Screen-toets.

ALT + ALTGR + P

Volledig scherm vastleggen (Print Screen)

Windows: het huidige scherm wordt naar het klembord gekopieerd. Plakken kan bijvoorbeeld in Paint of Word.
macOS: gelijk aan SHIFT + COMMAND + 3 – de schermafbeelding wordt op het bureaublad opgeslagen.

6.2 Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool – schakelaar

Aan de achterzijde links zit de schakelaar voor Key Repeat / Function Keys Tool (Herhalen van toetsen / Functietoetsen-hulpmiddel). Hiermee kiest u tussen Normaal en Assistive Technology.

OPMERKING: Deze combinaties zijn gebaseerd op de US‑International lay-out. In andere lay-outs kunnen F11/F12 op andere posities staan; meestal zijn het de twee toetsen direct onder Backspace.

6.3 Function Keys-modus zonder de schakelaar

Activeer tijdelijk met ALTGR + F (2 s). Druk daarna op 1–0, [ of ] om F1–F12 te sturen. Na gebruik schakelt de modus vanzelf uit. Zo blijft Key Repeat actief.

6.4 Windows-toets uitschakelen

ALTGR + CAPS LOCK (3 s)

Opmerking: Op macOS werkt de Windows-toets als Command (⌘). Uitschakelen heeft dus ook effect op Command-sneltoetsen.

6.5 Sticky Keys-hulpmiddel

Maakt combinaties eenvoudiger als tegelijk indrukken lastig is.

Houd CTRL + SHIFT (5 s) om het Sticky Keys-hulpmiddel te activeren. Maak daarna een toets sticky door 2 s ingedrukt te houden:
ALT / ALTGR / CTRL / SHIFT / WIN/MAC / F	Druk dezelfde toets opnieuw in om te deactiveren. Meerdere sticky-toetsen tegelijk is mogelijk.

Voorbeelden: Maak Ctrl sticky, daarna Alt sticky en druk op Delete → Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Of maak Alt sticky, F sticky en druk op 4 → Alt+F4.

6.6 Invoerdetectie

Bij elke toetsaanslag licht de rechter LED kort oranje op voor directe feedback.

6.7 LED-helderheid aanpassen

U kunt de helderheid van de indicator-LED’s aanpassen. Het eenvoudigst ziet u het verschil terwijl Caps Lock actief is: de linker LED brandt dan constant oranje.

Extra prettig bij verminderd zicht: maak LED’s feller voor betere zichtbaarheid of dim ze als het licht te fel of afleidend is.

Verschillen per verbinding:

In USB-modus is de rechter LED altijd aan; helderheidswijzigingen zijn goed zichtbaar.
In Bluetooth-modus ademt de rechter LED zacht blauw; wijzigingen vallen daardoor minder op.

Druk ALTGR + ARROW UP ↑ om de LED-helderheid te verhogen of ALTGR + ARROW DOWN ↓ om te verlagen. Dit zijn de helderheidsniveaus:

Tip Pas de helderheid het liefst aan terwijl u via USB verbonden bent voor de duidelijkste visuele feedback. In Bluetooth-modus kan lagere helderheid ook batterij besparen.

6.8 iPad-modus

Uw Clevy Keyboard kan schakelen tussen Computermodus (standaard) en iPad-modus. Dit gebeurt volledig in het toetsenbord; u installeert geen software. Beschikbaarheid van functies kan afhangen van iPadOS en VoiceOver QuickNav-instellingen.

In iPad-modus:

HOME	Werkt als de iPad-thuisknop.
ALTGR (in tekstvelden)	Schakelt QuickNav in/uit voor Apple VoiceOver en wisselt tussen items en letter-voor-letter.

6.9 ABCDE-lay-out

Schakel naar een alfabetische (ABCDE) lay-out. Fysieke opschriften aanpassen? Wissel dan de keycaps om.

ALT + ALTGR + Q (5 s)

De sneltoets gebruikt altijd dezelfde fysieke toetspositie (direct rechts van Tab), ongeacht de bedrukking. Niet beschikbaar voor Cyrillische lay-outs.

6.10 Fabrieksreset

Reset alle instellingen met ALT + ALTGR + R. Beide LED’s lichten in regenboogkleuren op als bevestiging. Na een reset moet u Bluetooth opnieuw koppelen; ook andere voorkeuren gaan terug naar standaard.

8. Reinigingsinstructies

Beschermingsgraad: niet waterdicht; geen IP-classificatie.

Bij morsen

Koppel USB los en zet de Wireless Mode switch op OFF.
Verwijder beide AA-batterijen.
Laat vloeistof via de afvoergaten weglopen. Niet schudden of draaien.
Laat 24–48 uur aan de lucht drogen (geen warmtebronnen).
Controleer op resten of corrosie voordat u het toetsenbord weer gebruikt.

Regulier reinigen

Koppel alle voeding los (USB en AA-batterijen).
Bij draadloos gebruik: zet de Wireless Mode switch op OFF.
Kantel het toetsenbord voorzichtig zodat stof en kruimels kunnen vallen.

Reinig met een zachte, pluisvrije doek die licht vochtig is met water. Voor desinfectie: 70–90% isopropylalcohol. Vermijd agressieve oplosmiddelen. Laat volledig drogen voordat u weer aansluit.

9. Hergebruik

Voor hergebruik of overdracht: reinig en desinfecteer grondig. Niet hergebruiken bij zichtbare schade, corrosie of accessoires die niet goed te desinfecteren zijn.

10. Problemen oplossen

Verbinding – Controleer de stand van de Wireless Mode switch en of koppelen is gelukt.
Stroom – Controleer batterijen of USB-kabel en hostvermogen.
Toetsen – Verwijder vuil en test opnieuw.
Schakelaar – Wissel tussen Normaal en Assistive Technology en test.
Reset – ALT + ALTGR + R (3 s) zet alle instellingen terug naar de fabriekswaarden.

1. Wprowadzenie

Clevy Keyboard to prosty, wszechstronny i wyraźnie wyczuwalny mechaniczny klawiatura, który ułatwia pisanie osobom potrzebującym bardziej dostępnych rozwiązań i sprawdza się także jako pierwszy klawiatura dla dzieci. 1.1 Przeznaczenie

Clevy Keyboard 3 to wspomagające urządzenie wejściowe przeznaczone do ułatwiania pisania użytkownikom, którzy mają trudności z obsługą standardowych klawiaturaów komputerowych z powodu ograniczeń motorycznych, wzrokowych lub poznawczych. Sprawdza się również jako klawiatura dla dzieci rozpoczynających naukę. 1.2 Wskazania

Osoby z obniżoną sprawnością motoryki małej lub mniejszą siłą dłoni, które korzystają z większych klawiszy i keyguardów.
Osoby z trudnościami wzrokowymi, które korzystają z dużych klawiszy o wysokim kontraście i dostosowanych fontów.

3. Rozpoczęcie pracy

Postępując zgodnie z tymi instrukcjami, możesz łatwo skonfigurować Clevy Keyboard do pracy przewodowej lub bezprzewodowej, zgodnie ze swoimi preferencjami.

3.1 Zasilanie przez USB (użycie przewodowe)

Użyj dołączonego kabla USB-C do USB-A, aby uzyskać stabilne połączenie przewodowe. Podłącz końcówkę USB-C do portu w Clevy Keyboard.

3.2 Zasilanie bateriami

Do pracy bezprzewodowej Clevy Keyboard może również działać na 2 bateriach AA, brak w zestawie. Włóż je do komory z tyłu klawiatury.

3.3 Włączanie trybu bezprzewodowego

Aby nawiązać połączenie przez Bluetooth, ustaw przełącznik trybu bezprzewodowego z tyłu klawiatury w pozycji „BT”. Aby wyłączyć łączność bezprzewodową, ustaw przełącznik w pozycji „OFF”. Informacje na temat priorytetów połączeń znajdują się w rozdziale 3.

WYMAGANIA DOTYCZĄCE ZASILANIA PRZEWODOWEGO: Urządzenie musi działać jako host USB i zapewniać wystarczające zasilanie. Większość komputerów robi to automatycznie. W niektórych konfiguracjach, szczególnie z adapterami USB-C lub urządzeniami mobilnymi, do działania klawiatury może być potrzebny zasilany hub USB lub adapter USB-C z Power Delivery (PD).

3.4 Parowanie Bluetooth

Jeśli nie zostanie wykryte żadne wcześniejsze połączenie bezprzewodowe, a ustawienie przełącznika umożliwia łączność bezprzewodową, prawa dioda LED zacznie automatycznie migać. Oznacza to, że klawiatura jest w trybie parowania i jest gotowy do nawiązania nowego połączenia z kompatybilnym urządzeniem. Uwaga: Informacje o priorytecie połączeń znajdziesz w sekcji 3.

Przejdź do ustawień Bluetooth na swoim komputerze i wyszukaj urządzenia.

Ustaw przełącznik Wireless Mode z tyłu Clevy Keyboard na ‘BT’. Tryb parowania uruchomi się automatycznie.

Tryb parowania jest aktywny, gdy prawa dioda LED miga ciągle na niebiesko. Tryb parowania pozostaje aktywny przez 3 minuty.

Urządzenie ‘Clevy KB3’ powinno pojawić się na Twoim urządzeniu. Aktywuj je i zacznij używać, postępując zgodnie z krokami sugerowanymi przez system operacyjny.

Po pomyślnym połączeniu prawa dioda LED będzie powoli ODDYCHAĆ na NIEBIESKO co 5 sekund. Clevy Keyboard jest gotowy do użycia w trybie Bluetooth.

WYJMOWANIE BATERII: Jeśli nie zamierzasz używać Clevy Keyboard przez dłuższy czas, zaleca się wyjęcie obu baterii AA, aby zapobiec ich wyciekowi, który mógłby uszkodzić produkt.

OSTRZEŻENIE DOTYCZĄCE BATERII: Nie mieszaj starych i nowych baterii ani różnych marek lub typów. Zwracaj uwagę na polaryzację. Nie używaj uszkodzonych ani cieknących baterii.

4. Priorytet połączeń

Zrozumienie priorytetu połączeń w Clevy Keyboard oraz ustawień przełącznika bezprzewodowego pomaga zapewnić płynne i sprawne łączenie w różnych sytuacjach użytkowania.

4.1 Priorytet połączenia USB-C:

Jeśli klawiatura jest podłączony kablem USB-C, będzie nadawał priorytet połączeniu przewodowemu, z wyjątkiem sytuacji, gdy znajduje się w trybie parowania.

4.2 Priorytet połączenia bezprzewodowego:

Jeśli klawiatura nie jest podłączony przewodowo, automatycznie wyszuka i połączy się z ostatnim istniejącym połączeniem Bluetooth, w zależności od ustawienia przełącznika bezprzewodowego.

4.3 Wireless Mode
