What is a motor impairment?
Motor impairment is a condition where a person has partially or fully lost control over parts of their body. Most commonly it affects the person’s muscles around their limb or limbs, causing them to be weaker or sometimes even paralyzed. People with motor impairments usually have trouble using their hands and have difficulty using a keyboard or a mouse. They can also become easily fatigued.

Why assistive technology matters
