- Fixed: Modifier keys (Shift / Ctrl / Alt / Win) now work correctly in Function Keys Tool mode

Clevy (Contrast) Keyboard 3 Tri Mode supports wired and wireless connections:

- Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connection
- SimplyWorks 2.4 GHz wireless connection
Note: USB-C and Bluetooth work right out of the box. SimplyWorks hardware is built in, but activation depends on a firmware update.
SimplyWorks is a 2.4 GHz wireless connection designed for assistive technology setups.
It requires a SimplyWorks RECEIVE unit, which is sold separately.
Note: SimplyWorks on the Clevy Keyboard becomes available after a firmware update.
Yes. The keyboard works as any standard keyboard, so it does not require drivers.
It is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. Bluetooth also works with iOS and Android devices that support external keyboards.
For USB-C wired use, no batteries are needed.
For wireless use, the keyboard uses 2 AA batteries. Batteries are not included. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
No. The wireless modes use 2 AA batteries and are not rechargeable.
Follow these steps:
- Insert 2 AA batteries
- Set the wireless mode switch on the back of the keyboard to BT.
- Open Bluetooth settings on your computer or tablet and search for devices.
- If pairing does not start automatically, briefly press the pairing button on the back using a pen tip.
- Select Clevy KB3 and follow the prompts on your device.
Tip: Pairing mode stays active for about 3 minutes.

Yes. You can connect via Bluetooth.
The keyboard also supports an iPad mode with built in shortcuts. You can switch modes using the shortcuts described in the manual.

- Built in assistive modes such as Sticky Keys, Input Detection, Function Keys Tool, and ABCDE layout support, all controlled directly from the keyboard without software
- Spill management design with drainage holes to reduce damage from accidental spills
- Multiple connection options in one device, including USB-C, Bluetooth, and SimplyWorks RF
- Native support for computers, tablets, and assistive technology setups without installing drivers
- Optional assistive accessories such as a keyguard and a silicone cover for extra protection and accuracy
Aside from the different colored keycaps and fonts, there are no differences between the Clevy Keyboard 3 and Clevy Contrast Keyboard 3.
The keyboard is durable, but it is not waterproof and has no IP rating.
For disinfecting, use isopropyl alcohol 70 to 90 percent on a soft cloth.
Avoid harsh solvents such as acetone.
For higher risk environments, a silicone cover can add extra protection.
Follow these steps:
- Disconnect USB power and switch the keyboard off.
- Remove the AA batteries.
- Let liquid drain through the drainage holes.
- Air dry for 24 to 48 hours.
- If problems remain, contact support.
Press ‘ALT’Â + ‘ALTGR’Â + ‘R’Â to reset Bluetooth and SimplyWorks connections and restore keyboard settings to default.
