The Keyguard is the solution for people with reduced hand and/or finger control
The support provided by the Clevy Keyguard feels good. You can lean on the keyboard without pressing other keys with your palm. Just like getting used to a different keyboard, the Clevy Keyguard takes some getting used to. But within a brief time, you find that you quickly get used to the elevation and if you make typos now, it is more likely to be caused by wanting to type too fast and not paying attention.
The feature to prevent keystroke repeats is fantastic
My student, who is just learning to type, loves the Clevy Keyboard! The larger size and color-coding support her to build familiarity with the keyboard and ease frustration as she’s learning. Of the color-coding patterns I have seen in the past on other keyboards, this design makes good sense to us both and draws appropriate attention to letters versus numbers and highlights the vowels. The feature to prevent keystroke repeats is also fantastic.

It has been a fun experience watching my student get excited about using the computer
Since moving to the Clevy mouse my student has been able to identify the right/left buttons with much more ease. They are so accustomed to hearing the Red Right in the classroom that when they come to the computer, I can hear him repeat «Red, Right, Wrong» once he starts to use the mouse because he knows that isn’t the side he needs to use to click his items. It has been a fun experience watching my student get excited about using the computer. We have really enjoyed the added benefit of the Clevy mouse in the classroom.
Now our entire staff uses Clevy to log-in
One of our special needs employees had difficulty logging in every morning to his timesheet. Thanks to the Clevy Contrast Keyboard he is not only able to see the keys clearly, but he can push the mechanical buttons much easier. Along with the Clevy Kids Mouse to navigate, he starts his day with a more positive attitude. Now our entire staff uses Clevy to log-in.
