I have received the mouse. My feedback is that it is both unique and practical. I like how it allows students (clients) to be able to engage with the mouse without difficulty and it easy for them to grasp and hold. I like the color coding of it where even a child working on processing or understanding directional cues such as right or left can easily be told the color and recall which side to use for their target outcome. This is a great product and it was a tool I didn’t know we needed! Thank you for this invention.

It has been a great addition

I work with Ann Bedard and I am one of 3 Assistive Technology Specialists at EASTCONN. We have had the Clevy Keyboard in our Lending Library for quite some time. It has been a fun experience watching my student get excited about using the computer

Since moving to the Clevy mouse my student has been able to identify the right/left buttons with much more ease. They are so accustomed to hearing the Red Right in the classroom that when they come to the computer, I can hear him repeat “Red, Right, Wrong” once he starts to use the mouse because he knows that isn’t the side he needs to use to click his items. It has been a fun experience watching my student get excited about using the computer. We have really enjoyed the added benefit of the Clevy mouse in the classroom.

Great mouse! It’s just the right size for my first grader, and I can use it in a pinch. The Bluetooth connects easily. Clevy was a receptive, eco-minded company when I reached out (I had an issue with their previous line, and a rep sent me a replacement and suggested I use reusable vs standard batteries. I like this mouse for my 3-4 year old.Here's why it's not 5 stars: it's a full size mouse marketed towards kids. I was hoping to get something smaller for her small hands.Here's why it's still 4 stars: even though it's full size, the buttons go back further on the mouse than normal, so when they hold the back, their little fingers can still reach far enough to meet the buttons and click. It will grow with them and I expect it to last a long time, as it's been put through the ringer many times already.AND, I didn't expect to be able to just replace my main mouse with this but I can. It's full size lets the whole family use the same mouse so I don't have to unplug/replug the little ones a special mouse.

What type of connection does the Clevy Kids Mouse 2 use?

The Clevy Kids Mouse 2 is Bluetooth-only and requires a device with Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Is there a wired version of the Clevy Kids Mouse 2?

Currently, only the Bluetooth version is available. We’re updating the older wired Clevy Kids Mouse, and eventually Clevy Kids Mouse 2 will be the standard for both wired and wireless. Stay tuned for more updates.

How do I connect the mouse to my device?

Press the round button on the bottom briefly to choose which Bluetooth slot to use:
- Left Blue LED = BT1
- Right Green LED = BT2
Hold the same button for 4 seconds to enter pairing mode for the selected Bluetooth slot.
The LED will blink rapidly (blue or green) to indicate pairing mode is active
- Pairing mode lasts for 2 minutes
On your computer or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and select „Clevy Mouse“
Once connected, the Clevy Kids Mouse is ready to use!

How change the DPI of the mouse?

Press both the green scroll wheel and the red (right) mouse button at the same time to cycle through DPI settings.
The DPI level is indicated by flashes of the LED on the bottom:
- 1 flash = 600 DPI
- 2 flashes = 800 DPI (default)
- 3 flashes = 1200 DPI
- 4 flashes = 1600 DPI
The color of the flash corresponds to the selected BT device:
- Blue LED for BT1
- Green LED for BT2
Hold both buttons until the LED stops flashing, so you can count the number of flashes to confirm the current DPI setting.
